What is a pouch style baby sling?

A pouch sling is a continuous tube of fabric sewn together to make a pouch. It is difficult to go wrong with a well-fitted pouch. Since they are fitted to the 'wearer', sizing is very important. There is not as much fabric or bulk with a pouch sling so it can me easily stored in a small diaper bag or purse. Pouch slings are the easiest to learn since there are few adjustments when wearing. Put it on, slide baby in and go...it's that easy!

What is the age/weight limit for wearing Cute Slings?

When you have a newborn, you can only wear them in the cradle position. Once they have their head control you can wear them in the Hip, Tummy to Tummy, Kangaroo Carry or even the Back Carry when they are older. This sling is safe & secure until your baby is 35lbs which is well into toddler-hood.

How safe is my sling?

Cute Slings are made with the safety of your baby in mind. Each sling is hand made & triple stitched to insure your baby's security. Please use common sense when using your Cute Slings & follow these tips:

1. Keep one hand supporting your baby until you know they are secure & deep in the pocket.

2. Do not leave your baby in you sling after it is removed.

3. Do not wear your baby while cooking or using sharp objects...remember, they are now at reaching level.

4. Make sure their nose & mouth is never blocked or covered.

What size sling should I order?

I have tried to make it as easy as possible for you to determine the perfect size. Since there is only an inch difference between sizes, most people can fit into 2 sizes comfortably. If you think you would like a snugger fit (like I do) than size down. Cute Slings sizes run big so keep that in mind as well. If you need further assistance in determining what size you need please email sizing@cuteslings.com. Please take everything here into consideration when ordering your size. If you have measured and you do not see your measurement on this chart than please email us to make a custom size.

How do I know if my new Cute Slings fits me?

If the bottom of the sling sits around your navel area than you have the correct size. It should not be more than 4 inches below your belly button with your baby in the sling. If it sits above your belly button than you need a larger size. If your sling sits more than 4 inches below your belly button than you should size down.
